Please help those in need by making a donation this year. Our major fundraiser is conducted in March but donations are appreciated throughout the year. Without your generous donations our ministry to help those needing our support would not be possible. The Society of Saint Vincent de Paul of Venice is 40 volunteers strong, taking calls every day, 365 days of the year, from individuals and families in need of assistance.
We Provide services to individuals and families without regard to race, creed, or color.
Our annual budget is completely funded through generous contributions from individuals like you and are tax deductible.
In 2024, private donations provided over $240,000 in emergency assistance to over 500 individuals and families, the majority with children.
Our donors’ generosity provided:
- 113 rent & mortgage payments ($850 average), many for clients facing eviction
- 153 utility payments ($325 average), avoiding shutoff of electricity and water for most
- Temporary housing for 132 homeless individuals
- 46 car repairs and payments ($530 average) so clients could get to work or take their children to school
